Valentine’s Day Giveaway

Celebrating love in every shape and form with three giveaways to be won in anticipation of Valentine’s Day! Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to stay updated on the latest giveaway.

Entering is free and easy! When you see the Facebook contest post, simply “like” the post and tag your friend/loved one relating to the Valentine’s-themed question. To enter on Twitter, follow @southcommonyeg and “retweet” the Twitter contest post (tweet). You can enter both on Facebook and Twitter as many times as you like; see full contest rules below for more details.

Contest Rules/Details:

  1. The Valentine’s Day Giveaway will run from January 26, 2019 to February 13, 2019 with one giveaway and one winner for each week for 3 weeks (Week 1, Week 2, Week 3 as outlined below).
  2. To enter, contestants must (1) “like” the official Facebook contest post on AND (2) tag a friend in the comment section of the Facebook contest post.
  3. For an additional entry, contestants can head to South Edmonton Common’s Twitter (@southcommonyeg) and must (1) Follow AND (2) Retweet the official Twitter contest post (tweet). The contestant’s Twitter profile must be public in order to qualify as an entry.
  4. Contestants are not obliged to “like” the South Edmonton Common Facebook page in order for their Facebook entry to qualify.
  5. Contestants can have multiple entries by tagging a friend in the comment section of the Facebook contest post, so long as they have “liked” the Facebook contest post.
  6. One winner will be chosen at random each week and announced on Facebook and Twitter at 12PM Mountain Time (MST). If the winner won through Facebook, South Edmonton Common will tag the winner in the comment section of the official contest post. If the winner won through Twitter, South Edmonton Common will tag the winner in their retweeted post.
  • Week 1 will run from January 26, 2019 to February 1, 2019. The contest winner will be announced on February 1, 2019, 12PM MST
  • Week 2 will run from February 2, 2019 to February 8, 2019. The contest winner will be announced on February 8, 2019, 12PM MST
  • Week 3 will run from February 9, 2019 to February 13, 2019. The contest winner will be announced on February 13, 2019, 12PM MST
  1. Each winner will have 24 hours from the announcement to claim their prize by replying to the announcement on their win. If the winner does not claim their prize within the 24 hour window, the winner automatically forfeits the prize and a new winner will be randomly selected and contacted.
  2. The winner must be able to pick up their prize at the designated pick-up location in Edmonton, AB.
  3. Contestants cannot win more than once.
  4. Contest is open to Alberta residents only.
  5. Winner must be 18 years of age or older.
  6. By entering the contest, you accept the rules set out above, which are subject to change without notice and automatically releases South Edmonton Common and the Giveaway Sponsor from any liability in connection with the Giveaway.

No purchase necessary. Internet access and a public Twitter account is required. No other means of submission will be accepted.
