About the Event:

This three-hour event begins with a screening of Dry Horizons, a compelling documentary exploring the environmental challenges facing Alberta’s Eastern Slopes. As the source of drinking water for more than two million people, these headwaters are under threat from industrial activity and insufficient environmental protections.

Directed by Ryan HK and produced by CPAWS Southern Alberta, the Pekisko Group, and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, Dry Horizons brings attention to the urgent need for conservation in the region.

Following the screening, attendees will participate in an activism workshop, where they can learn practical ways to advocate for policy change and environmental protection.

Support a Cause:

This event is more than a film screening—it’s a call to action. All proceeds from the evening will directly support CPAWS and their efforts to protect Canada’s wilderness.
